American Racing Technology (A.R.T.) opened its doors in February of 2005 in Buda, TX - just south of Austin. Our 10,000 ft² facility includes a showroom, installation bay with an in ground DynoJet Dynometer and a full fabrication area. A.R.T. caters to most late model American Muscle Cars but Specializes in (C5) (C6) Chevrolet Corvettes and Dodge Vipers. We pride ourselves on customer service and quality workmanship.  

Cody Whitehead - President
Cody has many years of experience racing and building hotrods, both domestic and import. His attention to every detail guarantees that every car to leave his shop will be perfect. Cody’s passion and enthusiasm for automotive performance has given A.R.T. a reliable and satisfactory reputation. Cody’s love for cars and his fervor for customer service both contribute to the shop’s presentation and character.

David Weaver – General Manager
David has been working with Viper customers since the introduction of the car in 1992. He began working in a Dodge dealership in 1988 and stayed with the Dodge product line until 2005. He is A.S.E certified and Daimler Chrysler Master certified for the past 11 years spent at the dealership. He has attended all Daimler Chrysler Viper technical training courses. David joined Cody here at A.R.T. with the focus of producing quality performance enhancements that always exceed the customer expectations in both performance numbers and quality of service.

Chris Pharr- 

Chris Pharr joined ART in 2007. With him he brings 19 years experience in the automotive industry. Chris is factory trained by Chrysler and General Motors, and was awarded Master Tech with GM and Gold Level with Chrysler. He currently is ASE certified in the following areas: Master Auto technician (A1-A8), Advanced Level (L1), Parts Specialist (P2), and Service Writer (S1). Chris is truly an automotive enthusiast, it is his second love. Chris loves speed, power and competitive events, second only to his lovely Daughter Lisa and Wife Linda.

 Monte Kelley
Monte is a Gold Level Diamler Chrysler technician with 30 years of automotive service experience. He has an easy going, yet professional working relationship and has served as a shop foreman, service manager, and technician. He has spent the past 15 years specializing in computer based diagnostics and fuel injected engine performance, and has spent 8 years with Diamler Chrysler as an engine performance tech. Monte joined A.R.T. in January of 2006 and has worked with David on and off for the past 15 years.
